Mrs. Weera has been a support to Parvana's mother and has given some courage to her. As Parvana has said (page 83, chapter 8). She has been like a leader in the family and getting everyone to do their chores.

Mrs.Weera's attitude has help her deal with the difficulties in the family and herself by being positive and helping out the family. If Parvana's mother is happy, Parvana, Nooria, Ali, and Maryam will be happy. Plus, she had been through troubles too (page 85). One morning, I was going to school when I felt really tired but, I thought positively and went happily to school.

4. Explain how Parvana bargained to get a better price for her Shalwar Kameez.

Parvana sold her Shalwar Kameez by doing what her father had done, either letting the customer name a price and agree or the seller names a price and the customer agreed. I think she did that do if she named a price to high the customer might leave.
